A Solid Weekend

In mid-February the weather can always be hit and miss, this weekend we were lucky and the weather was glorious. With this in mind we went to shoot the CPSA registered shoots at Orston and Kegworth.

Orston was as always a good shoot and if anything the weather was too good as on some stands we were struggling to see due to the bright sunshine. I finished the day on 77% which ended up being 2nd in B class, which is a contant reminder that if you drop a few targets you can’t assume you are out of the competition.

Then onto Kegworth.

Kegworth was again kind to me again with the Eley Superbs doing the job, scoring 83%, so still on course for this years goal of moving up into A Class.

To finish the weekend it was time to review the scorecards and determine what to focus on in the next week at Mickley Hall Shooting School with Scott Barnett.
