2019 Jack Pyke Pro Sporting

As the Clay season is now well and truly underway the Jack Pyke at Sporting Targets is always an event to look forward to. This was going to be one of my first major events in A class after reaching my goal of going up a class this season.

There was a huge variety of targets from teal to driven, 70mm to rabbits etc. all there to test the shooter. The weather for this event always seems kind to us and 2019 was no exception it was another hot and sunny day for us.

I finished with 103 / 120 which was around 3 shy of where I wanted to be however it was still in the places for A class, which was pleasing for my first major in that class.

We also shot the High Tower Challenge which is usually one of my better events as always this is a tough event, usually they break you in easily and it gets more difficult as the course progresses. This year it was tough from the start and unfortunately I didn’t manage to post a good score but there is always next year.
